Like the idea of camping but don’t have the equipment? Or maybe you don’t want the hassle of trying to fit all your equipment into your compact car? Camping is one of the truly great outdoor experiences...now we’re making it even better!

Why not have the equipment set-up and waiting for you when you arrive?  And at the end of the day, sink into your soft comfortable bed inside the furnished canvas tent.  Best of all, when your stay is over.....you don’t have to take any of it down!

Furnished tent site comes complete with:

Canvas Tent – 10ft x 14ft – 3 large windows with inside zip storm flap closure and mesh screening. Roomy interior with full 8 ft center height. 2 single beds 2 sets of bedding. (sheets, blanket and pillow) 1 nightstand. 32” round table with 2 chairs. Large cooler. Picnic table and Firepit/Grill.

Customers are welcome to bring their own sleeping bags if they have additional occupants
(max of 6 people per site).  Two sets of sleeping mats are included for comfort.

I love this idea. It's like having your cake and eating it too. It can be kind of a drag to have to pitch a tent and prepare a campsite after a long day of hiking.

Santa Clara County Park, CA - Mt. Madonna which is just 1/2 hr drive south of San Jose offers 6 - 10 person Yurts for rent as of this spring. They are furnished with bunk beds and wooden floors. All you need to bring is cooking gear and food.
I am looking forward to trying one of them this summer.
