About dehydrated food. Years ago I tried the early commercial dehydrated food. It was terrible!
Last winter I was given several different types of modern commercial dehydrated food. Wow! I am now using dehydrated foods in my at home cooking as well as my motorcycle camping.

We are like wheat, here on earth to ripen. We ripen intellectually by letting in as much of the universe's complexity as we can. Morally we ripen by making our choices. And we ripen spiritually by openig our eyes to Creation's endless detail.

LED is the new kid on the block. I find LED torches are much smaller than standard torches and therefor lighter to carry. The tiny LED's produce a crisp bright light, which is more than enough to light up the surrounding area. They are an essential piece of equipment when camping.

Aquaroll and coolbox and blow up bed.

Every time I go camping I always bring along a pocket knife. I love the pocket knives i have, they have a 1001 uses. A good pocket knife makes camping a lot easier and enjoyable because of these uses. I know that Gerber, Case and SOG all carry great pocket knives. And they are inexpensive gifts..

A knife would be a great camping gift. But I agree that the flashlight should be first on the list. The flashlight is a must when attending a camp. Kudos!

These are some really great gift ideas. If I were to get a camping gift I'd want to get some more lights and lanterns. It seems like we are always misplacing them. You can't have too many flashlights.

If, like many widows, you have never had a line of credit in your own name or have only been listed on joint credit card accounts, it's time to make a name for yourself.
